ABOUT DR. VANWECHEL

This is the first question Dr. VanWechel asks his patients. He listens to the answer, and then applies his considerable knowledge, skill and leading-edge dental technology to create the smile his patient wants.

In practice for more than 30 years, Dr. VanWechel is known for using the newest technology and dental techniques to provide his patients with the highest level of treatment. Recognizing the growing epidemic of gum disease in America, he joined the exclusive ranks of forward-thinking dentists who became certified in the use of LANAP Periolase gum therapy, the only FDA cleared laser gum treatment in America.

Dr. VanWechel holds a degree in business from Luther College and a degree in dentistry from the University of Iowa. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society and the American Society of Dental Aesthetics, which has an elite membership of only 400 worldwide. He is a graduate of the LSU Cosmetic Dentistry Continuum and the Foundation of Advanced Continuing Education program for full mouth rehabilitation. In 1999, he graduated from the renowned Master Aesthetic Dentist Program at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr. VanWechel has been a certified practitioner of LANAP Periolase laser gum therapy since 2006 and has practiced dentistry in Colorado since 1979.
